Questions

Can hospitals book transfers themselves?

Yes. Each hospital gets its own portal where wards request transfers, add patient details and follow the journey live.

Do crews need a separate app?

Crews use the vehicle MDT, which shows the job, the route and each step, and keeps working with no signal.

Can patients' families follow the journey?

On the Gold plan, families get a tracking number to follow the vehicle on myambulance.co.uk. They see progress and the crew's first names, nothing clinical.
