Independent ambulance services, event medical providers and the clinicians who work for them: from one clinician recording their own patients to a service running events, patient transport and 999 work.

Their own phone. The staff app runs in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like any app, on iPhone and Android. Vehicles use a tablet as the MDT, and events can have a shared event tablet. The office works in any modern browser.

Yes, where it matters. The ePRF, the MDT and the event tablet keep working with no signal: records and status changes are saved on the device and sent as soon as there's a connection again.

Records are encrypted when they're sent and when they're stored. Everyone signs in as themselves, sees only what their role allows, and shared tablets need each crew member's PIN. Every change to a record is logged.

You do. We look after it on your behalf and only use it to run the service for you. If you ever leave, you get a full copy: every patient record as a PDF, every staff member's documents, and all your other records as spreadsheets.

On Gold, families of patient transport patients can follow the journey on myambulance.co.uk with a tracking number from the service. They see the vehicle's progress and the crew's first names, nothing clinical.
